Brewer's Description:The legend of ‘Hop’ Wallop:

Horace ‘Hop’ Wallop headed west a broken man. For in the City of Blues a Miss LuLu Belle Lager had left him thirsting for more. Drawn by wild tales of riches to be had in the gold mines, Hop pressed on westward. His last nickel spent on a prospecting pan. Hop’s hunger got the best of him. Two fistfuls of barley and three of some wild and wayward hops tossed in a pan with some clear water was to be his meal. But sleep overcame him and he later awoke to a bubbling, cacophonous concoction. Overjoyed with the beautiful ale that he had made, Hop realized the secret of the green gold he had discovered in those fresh hops. Celebrated far and wide, Hop Wallop lives on in this vivid ale with his words, ""Hoppiness is happiness."" ENJOY!

Appearance:Light amber color. Poured a nice head without much retention. Not many bubbles.
Aroma:VERY strong hop smell.
Taste:VERY strong hop taste.
Mouth Feel:Feel is fine with good carbonation.
Drinkability:Not very good, in my opinion. It’s too hoppy for my taste. I prefer Hop Devil quite a bit.

Brewer's Description:Prima! An exclamation of joy. A recognition of accomplishment. Though it's spoken in German, it's felt in all languages. It's what escaped from our lips as we sampled the first brew of this mighty pilsner beer. Though we'd been through a few in our years with other breweries, finally, with whole flower european hops and fine German malts we had achieved what we'd sought for so long. Prima… An exclamation of victory! Prost!

Appearance:Light, golden yellow. Poured a nice head, but retained only a short time. Random bubbles rise slowly.
Aroma:Smells pretty good. Like a typical light-colored beer. Maybe a little yeast smell. A little like bread, but not nearly as pronounced as in a Pyramid Curve Ball Kolsch.
Taste:A little bitter for me. That's kind of what I thought of the Urquell that I had, which may have been skunked. This does not taste skunky at all. It's getting better as I drink it.
Mouth Feel:Has a good feel. Nice carbonation level that's just a bit higher than perfect.
Drinkability:Not bad, but not my favorite. I guess I like them sweeter than this.

Brewer's Description:The mythical Hopdevil resides in the lore of farmers. Our HopDevil is the real deal. Bold, spicy and menacingly delicious. He's the product of distinctive American hops and meticulous craftmanship. Arising from the heady wilds of our hop back and gently tamed with time, this devil makes a great companion!
Appearance:Medium-dark amber in color. Poured a perfect amount of head. Retained head for a little while. No visible bubbles while sitting on counter.
Aroma:Smells spicy for beer.
Taste:Somewhat similar to Boulevard Pale Ale. More bitterness than something like a Kolsch, but not overly bitter. I definitely know what to expect from an IPA now.
Mouth Feel:Some carbonation release, but not a lot. Smooth finish.
Drinkability:A bit better than the Rahr. On par, or maybe better than Boulevard. This was what the lady at K&B suggested as a benchmark for hops. So I suppose I know what hoppy" means now.
