Appearance:	Light, golden yellow in color. Head is like whipped egg white. Poured a nice head. Did not retain it long at all. Multiple bubble trails.
Aroma:	Smells like a good pilsner.
Taste:	Tastes much better than the Heinekens I've had from bottles. Not skunkly like the other times I've tried it.
Mouth Feel:	Good feel with nice carbonation level.
Drinkability:	Much better than I had remembered. There must be something to the green bottle/skunky beer thing. I would drink this again, but only from cans. Would be a good choice on a plane, if you had to choose between it, Bud Light, or Miller Light.

Brewer's Description:	Prima! An exclamation of joy. A recognition of accomplishment. Though it's spoken in German, it's felt in all languages. It's what escaped from our lips as we sampled the first brew of this mighty pilsner beer. Though we'd been through a few in our years with other breweries, finally, with whole flower european hops and fine German malts we had achieved what we'd sought for so long. Prima… An exclamation of victory! Prost! "A refined pilsner beer for natural enjoyment."
Appearance:	Light, golden yellow. Poured a nice head, but retained only a short time. Random bubbles rise slowly.
Aroma:	Smells pretty good. Like a typical light-colored beer. Maybe a little yeast smell. A little like bread, but not nearly as pronounced as in a Pyramid Curve Ball Kolsch.
Taste:	A little bitter for me. That's kind of what I thought of the Urquell that I had, which may have been skunked. This does not taste skunky at all. It's getting better as I drink it.
Mouth Feel:	Has a good feel. Nice carbonation level that's just a bit higher than perfect.
Drinkability:	Not bad, but not my favorite. I guess I like them sweeter than this.

Boulevard Pilsner debuts this summer

This is excellent news. When we toured the Boulevard Brewery in January, they had their pilsner in the tasting room as an experimental brew and it was delicious. Hopefully, they'll expand distribution soon. I'd love to be able to get some in Texas.

(Kansas City, MO) – Perk up, Midwesterners. Boulevard Brewing will add a new year-round beer later this summer. According to a brewery rep, “Boulevard Pilsner will be [...] available initially only in Kansas City in 6-packs. We’re paying homage to the legacy of past Kansas City breweries with a classic American lager; all malt, real hop character, unpasteurized. Basically an American beer “revival” for local consumers made by a traditional Midwestern craft brewery.” The beer label was recently approved by the TTB.
